Dele Adebola has returned to Birmingham after a disappointing loan spell at Boundary Park. He originally agreed to the loan to sharpen up his fitness after injury but the marksman failed to score in five games. It was unlikely that Athletic would push for a permanent transfer and, as the season is effectively over, there was no point in extending his deal just for the final game.
